Questions
Pricing Questions
Why do you publish your handyman prices?
Because the two complaints people have about hiring help are no-shows and prices that change after the work starts. Posting the numbers lets you decide before you ever contact us, and the written quote holds us to them.
What does "starting at" mean on a flat rate?
It is the labor price for the job under standard conditions, such as a TV on a plain drywall wall or a faucet with working shutoff valves. If your photos show something that changes the job, you hear about it in the written quote, not at the door.
Can the price change once the work has started?
Only if you agree to it in writing. If we open something up and find a problem nobody could see, we stop, show you photos and give you a price for the extra work. Nothing is added without a signed change order.
Is a half-day block cheaper than paying by the hour?
$319 buys four hours, which works out lower than four hours at $85. The full-day block at $599 lowers it again. Blocks are booked ahead and suit a list of small jobs or an inspection repair list.
