Holiday Light Installation in Yukon, OK
Every home gets its own written price after you text us photos, because no two rooflines are the same. Roofline work is a two-person job, priced on our crew rate of $135 an hour with a 2-hour minimum. You supply the lights, or we pick them up at cost plus 20%.
Starting at $149What Is Included
- Lights hung along rooflines, gutters and peaks
- Windows, shrubs and trees lit to match
- Clips that hold the lights without putting holes in your shingles or fascia
- Timers set so the lights come on and off by themselves
- Take-down after the season, when you add it to the quote
- A free 5-minute roof and exterior check from the ladder, with photos
What Is Not
- New outlets or wiring. We plug into your existing outdoor outlets, and new power is a job for a licensed electrician.
- Walking steep roofs, or hanging lights where a ladder cannot be set safely
- Storing your lights between seasons
- The lights themselves, unless you ask us to pick them up (cost plus 20%)
- Roof repair. If we see damage, we send photos and connect you with a registered roofing contractor we work with.

What the install covers
Holiday lights are a seasonal job for us, from November through January. We hang the lights you bought, or lights we pick up for you, along the rooflines, gutters and peaks, and around windows, shrubs and trees. Each run is clipped in place, not nailed or stapled, so your shingles and fascia stay whole. We plug into your existing outdoor outlets, set the timers and turn everything on with you before we leave.
If you want the lights down after the season, add take-down to the quote. We unclip every strand, coil it and leave it with you to store.
Why roofline work takes two people
Anything along the roofline is a two-person job. Chris and Mason work it together: one on the ladder, one footing it and passing up strands. We set the ladder on a stabilizer and do not walk a steep roof. If a spot cannot be reached safely from a ladder, we leave it unlit and tell you why in the quote, not on the day.
That is also why roofline work is priced on the two-person crew rate of $135 an hour with a 2-hour minimum. You see the full written price before anything is booked, and it does not change on site without a signed change order.
Being up at the roofline has a side benefit. Every install comes with the free 5-minute roof and exterior check, with photos. We do not repair roofs. If we see damage, we send you the photos and connect you with a registered roofing contractor we work with for a full inspection.
Where we draw the line
A few things we will not do, so you can plan around them. We do not add outlets or run new wiring for lights; a licensed electrician handles that. We do not store lights between seasons. And we cannot promise a date that the weather decides: wind, ice and rain move ladder work, and we would rather reschedule than take a chance.
The calendar is short, so the best move is to book early. Text the photos, get the price and pick a day.
The process
How A Holiday Lights Job Goes
-
Show us the house
Text a photo of the front of the house from the street, plus any trees or shrubs you want lit. Mark where your outdoor outlets are.
-
A written price
We measure the runs from your photos and send a firm price, with take-down added if you want it. Book early, because the season is short.
-
Hang day
Chris and Mason work the roofline from ladders, clip the lights, plug into your outlets and set the timers. Weather can move the day.
-
Lights on, photos sent
We test everything with you, then send the photo report and the roof and exterior check from the ladder.
Questions
Holiday Lights Questions
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Yukon?
There is no flat rate because every roofline is different. Roofline work is priced on our two-person crew rate of $135 an hour with a 2-hour minimum, and you get a written price from your photos before we book. Lights are yours, or we buy them at cost plus 20%.
Will the clips damage my shingles or fascia?
We use clips that grip the shingle edge or the gutter lip instead of nails, staples or screws, so there are no holes left behind. When the lights come down, the clips come down with them and the roofline looks the way it did before.
Can you add an outlet so I can run lights on the other side of the house?
No. We plug into the outdoor outlets you already have and do not add outlets or run new wiring. That is work for a licensed electrician. If your outlets are in awkward spots, send a photo and we will plan the runs around them.
When should I book holiday light installation?
The season runs November through January, and that is a short window. Book as early as you can. Weather can push an install day back, since we will not work a ladder in high wind, ice or rain, so leave some room before any party date.
Do you take the lights down after the holidays?
Yes, if you add take-down to the quote. We unclip everything, coil the strands and leave them with you. We do not store lights between seasons, so plan on a spot in the garage or attic for the boxes.
