What a full cleaning covers
A clean gutter is only half the job. The water also has to leave the downspout and get away from the house. We scoop each run out by hand, bag the debris, and then run water through every downspout to make sure it flows out the bottom.
While we are going around the house, we look at the hangers, the seams and the end caps. A sagging run holds standing water, and a dripping seam stains the siding and soaks the ground by the foundation. Small fixes run at the hourly rate, and we show you photos before we do them.
The free roof check, and why it matters
Gutter cleaning puts us at the edge of your roof, which is the best view most homeowners never get. Every gutter job includes a free 5-minute roof and exterior check from the ladder or the ground. We take photos of the shingles we can see, the flashing, the fascia and the soffit, and send them to you with the job report.
We do not repair roofs. No shingles, no flashing, no decking, ever. If the photos show something that looks like real damage, we connect you with a registered roofing contractor we work with for a full inspection. Either way you have the photos and the choice.
What we will not do on a gutter job
Some work belongs to someone else, and we will say so. We do not make or install new seamless gutter, so if a run is split, rusted through or far too small, you need a gutter installer. If the fascia board behind the gutter is soft, the gutter has nothing solid to hold, and that is a separate exterior repair we quote on its own.
We also will not take risks with ladders. Gutters are worked from a ladder with a stabilizer, and we do not walk on a roof without fall protection. On a steep two-story section, part of the run may be out of safe reach. If that happens you hear it from us up front, and the price reflects what we can actually do.

How much does gutter cleaning cost in Yukon?

Will you get on my roof to clean the gutters?
We work from ladders with a stabilizer, not from the roof. We do not walk a roof without fall protection. On a steep or tall section where a ladder cannot be set safely, we tell you which part we could not reach instead of taking the chance.
Do gutter guards mean I never have to clean my gutters?
No. Guards keep out most leaves, so you clean less often, but seeds, shingle grit and small debris still get through or pile up on top. If you buy guards, we can install them at the hourly rate. Plan on checking them every so often.
My gutter overflows even after it is cleaned. What is wrong?
Usually a clogged downspout, a run that sags in the middle, or a gutter that has lost its slope toward the outlet. We flush the downspout and re-hang the low spot. If the gutter is too small for the roof above it, that needs a gutter installer.
What if you find damage on my roof?
We send you the photos and tell you what we saw. We do not repair roofs. If it looks like real damage, we connect you with a registered roofing contractor we work with for a full inspection, and that call is yours to make.
