Roof Repair in Yukon, OK
Bauss Handyman does not repair roofs. Roof repair and replacement in Yukon go through FullClaim Restoration, an Oklahoma-registered roofing contractor we work with. Every handyman job we do includes a free 5-minute roof and exterior check with photos in your report. If we see damage, we send you the photos and connect you with FullClaim Restoration for a full inspection and a written estimate from them.
What Is Included
- A free 5-minute roof and exterior check from the ground or a ladder with any Bauss Handyman job
- Photos of every slope we can see and anything that looks wrong, in your job report the same day
- A direct handoff to FullClaim Restoration, with your photos, so you are not starting from zero
- A full inspection on the roof by FullClaim Restoration and a written estimate from them
- Repairs and full replacements done by FullClaim Restoration under its Oklahoma roofing contractor registration
- The option to take the photos to any other roofer for a second opinion
What Is Not
- Any roof work by Bauss Handyman. We do not replace shingles, reseal flashing, patch decking or tarp a roof.
- Walking the roof. Our check is from the ground and a ladder at the eave. The on-roof inspection is FullClaim Restoration's.
- A price from us. FullClaim Restoration prices the roofing work in its own written estimate.
- Gutter cleaning, fascia and soffit repair, which are our jobs and are quoted separately
Who does the work
Roof Repair Is Done By FullClaim Restoration
Bauss Handyman does not repair or replace roofs and does not price roofing work. FullClaim Restoration holds the Oklahoma roofing contractor registration, inspects the roof, and gives you its own written estimate. Our part is the free 5-minute roof and exterior check that comes with any handyman job, the photos, and the handoff.
How we are connected: we work with FullClaim Restoration. Chris and Mason also do roof inspections for them. That is a business relationship, and we would rather tell you than have you wonder. You are never required to use them, the photos are yours either way, and a second opinion from another roofer is always a fair idea. See how the free roof check works.
Who does what
The roof is the one part of your house we look at on every visit and never work on. Oklahoma’s Roofing Contractor Registration Act requires a current registration from the Construction Industries Board to advertise or perform roofing, and that registration is held by FullClaim Restoration, the roofing contractor we work with. Bauss Handyman does the free check and takes the photos. FullClaim Restoration inspects the roof, writes the estimate and does the repair or the replacement.
You get an honest look at the roof from someone with nothing to sell you that day, and the work itself done by a registered roofer. If you would rather use a different roofer, the photos are yours to take anywhere.
What the free check covers
Every Bauss Handyman job includes a 5-minute roof and exterior check. We do not walk the roof. From the ground and from a ladder at the eave we look at each slope we can see, the ridge, the valleys, the pipe boots, the vents and the flashing at chimneys and walls. We look in the gutters for shingle granules, and we look at the soffit and fascia for stains and soft spots that point to water getting in.
Everything we see gets photographed and goes in your job report. If nothing looks wrong, the report says so. If something does, you have dated photos and a plain note on what we saw.
What FullClaim Restoration handles
Repairs and replacements are the roofer’s job. That includes replacing missing, creased or hail-bruised shingles, resealing or replacing flashing, swapping split pipe boots and damaged vent caps, repairing storm damage, and replacing a roof that has reached the end of its life. FullClaim Restoration gets on the roof for the full inspection, gives you a written estimate, and schedules the work with you directly.
Central Oklahoma gets hail and straight-line wind, and a roof can take damage that is hard to see from the ground. Our check is a first look, not an inspection. The on-roof inspection is FullClaim Restoration‘s, and it is the one that counts.
Where we come back in
Water that got past the roof usually leaves work behind: stained or sagging ceiling drywall, swollen fascia, a rotted soffit, a gutter pulled loose. Once the roof is tight, those repairs are ours. We can price them from the same photos and book them after FullClaim Restoration is done, so the inside of the house gets finished too.
The process
How A Roof Repair Job Goes
-
Book any handyman job, or send roof photos
The roof check comes free with any job. If the roof is your only concern, text us photos of the damage and the year the roof was last replaced if you know it.
-
We look and photograph
From the ground and a ladder at the eave we photograph each slope we can see, the flashing, pipe boots and vents, and anything out of place. The photos go in your report.
-
Handoff to the roofer
With your say-so we send the photos to FullClaim Restoration, who gets on the roof for a full inspection and sends you a written estimate for the repair or replacement.
-
You decide
The photos are yours. Use them with FullClaim Restoration, take them to another roofer, or do nothing. Nothing is booked until you say so.
Questions
Roof Repair Questions
Does Bauss Handyman repair roofs?
No. Oklahoma requires a roofing contractor registration from the Construction Industries Board to advertise or do roofing work, and that registration belongs to FullClaim Restoration, not to us. We do the free check and the photos. FullClaim Restoration does the inspection, the estimate and the work.
How much does roof repair cost in Yukon?
We cannot say, because we do not price roofing. FullClaim Restoration inspects the roof and gives you a written estimate that depends on the shingle type, the slope, how many squares are affected and whether it is a repair or a replacement. Our free check and photos cost you nothing.
What are the signs my roof needs repair?
Shingles that are missing, lifted, creased or cracked. Granules piling up in the gutters. Pipe boots that are split or pulling away. Flashing that is bent or loose at the chimney and walls. Stains on a ceiling or in the attic. Our 5-minute check looks for all of these.
Can you fix a leak today, or put a tarp on?
No. A tarp or an emergency patch is roofing work, so it is FullClaim Restoration's to do. Call them directly for a leak that is actively dripping, and tell them Bauss Handyman sent you. If the leak has already stained drywall, that part is ours to repair once the roof is tight.
Do I have to use the roofer you recommend?
No. We work with FullClaim Restoration and FullClaim Restoration also uses us for inspections, so there is a business relationship, and we tell you that plainly. The photos from our check are yours. A second estimate from another registered roofer is always a fair idea.
