Terms of Service

The plain-language terms for using this website and hiring Bauss Handyman. Last updated 2026-11-05.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Bauss Handyman ("we", "us"). Your written quote is part of our agreement for a job. If the quote and these terms disagree, the quote controls.

Prices on this site

Prices shown on this site are starting prices for labor under standard conditions. Materials are extra unless noted. Your final price is confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Quotes and change orders

We quote from the photos and details you send, or from a site visit for larger jobs. A quote covers the work it describes. If we find something that changes the job, we stop, show you, and give you a price for the added work. Nothing is added without a change order you approve in writing.

Scheduling and the on-time promise

We give you an arrival window when you book. If we arrive after that window without having told you beforehand, $25 comes off that invoice. The promise does not apply when the delay is caused by severe weather, a road closure, or a change you asked for.

If you need to move or cancel a visit, tell us as early as you can so the time can go to someone else.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is done, unless your quote says otherwise. Larger jobs may require a deposit, which will be stated on the quote. Materials we buy for your job are billed at cost plus 20%, or you may supply your own.

What we do not do

We are a handyman business. We do not perform work that Oklahoma reserves for separately regulated trades, including new electrical circuits, wiring or panel work, new plumbing, gas lines, water heaters, heating and air work, or roof repair, and we do not perform structural work. Fixture replacements are like for like on existing wiring and plumbing. Where a job needs one of those trades, we will refer you to a licensed pro, and that work is between you and them.

Your part

  • Give us safe access to the work area and tell us about anything we should know, such as pets, alarm systems or known problems behind a wall.
  • Tell us about buried lines you know of before we dig, such as sprinkler or invisible fence lines.
  • Get any approval your homeowner association requires.
  • Where a city permit is required, we will tell you before we quote and agree with you on who obtains it.

Photos

We photograph our work before and after for your job report. We will ask your permission before using photos of your home on our website or in advertising.

The free roof and exterior check

The check is a brief visual look from the ground or a ladder, offered as a courtesy. It is not a roof inspection, an engineering assessment or a report on the condition of your home, and it may not find every problem.

This website

We work to keep this site accurate, and prices and service areas can change. The information here is general and is not advice for your specific home. Links to other sites, such as city and Postal Service pages, are provided for convenience, and we do not control their content.
