Rubber Roof Repair in Yukon, OK
Bauss Handyman does not repair rubber roofs. EPDM and other flat or low-slope roof repairs in Yukon go through FullClaim Restoration, an Oklahoma-registered roofing contractor we work with. With any handyman job we do a free 5-minute check of the roof and exterior and put photos in your report. If we see a lifted seam, a puncture or standing water, we send you the photos and connect you with FullClaim Restoration for a full inspection and a written estimate from them.

Who does the work
Rubber Roof Repair Is Done By FullClaim Restoration
Bauss Handyman does not repair or replace roofs and does not price roofing work. FullClaim Restoration holds the Oklahoma roofing contractor registration, inspects the roof, and gives you its own written estimate. Our part is the free 5-minute roof and exterior check that comes with any handyman job, the photos, and the handoff.
How we are connected: we work with FullClaim Restoration. Chris and Mason also do roof inspections for them. That is a business relationship, and we would rather tell you than have you wonder. You are never required to use them, the photos are yours either way, and a second opinion from another roofer is always a fair idea. See how the free roof check works.
Who does what
Flat and low-slope roofs fail quietly. Bauss Handyman does not repair them. Oklahoma’s Roofing Contractor Registration Act requires a current registration from the Construction Industries Board to advertise or perform roofing, and that registration is held by FullClaim Restoration, the roofing contractor we work with. We do the free check and the photos. FullClaim Restoration walks the roof, writes the estimate and does the repair.
We work with FullClaim Restoration and they use us for inspections, so there is a business relationship, and we say so. The photos from our check are yours, and a second estimate from another registered roofer is always a fair idea.
What we look for on a flat roof
Rubber roofs on homes cover porches, patios, additions and flat garages, and they can often be seen from a ladder at the edge. Our 5-minute check photographs the seams we can see, the perimeter where the membrane turns up a wall or over the edge, the drains or scuppers, every pipe and vent that comes through, and any water that is still standing.
We do not walk a membrane roof. Foot traffic on a wet or aged membrane can do damage, and the on-roof inspection belongs to the roofer. You get dated photos and a plain note on what we saw.
What FullClaim Restoration handles
The repairs themselves: re-seaming lifted or open seams, patching punctures and blisters, re-flashing the edges and the penetrations, clearing and correcting drainage where water ponds, applying a coating over a membrane that is still sound, and replacing the membrane when it is past repair. FullClaim Restoration inspects up close, gives you a written estimate and schedules the work with you directly.
Hail punctures membrane roofs, and sun and heat shrink EPDM over the years until it pulls at the edges. Both can show up on a ladder check before they show up on the ceiling.
Where we come back in
Water that got through a flat roof leaves work behind: stained drywall, a soft soffit, swollen fascia, a gutter or scupper that has pulled loose. Once FullClaim Restoration has the roof tight, those repairs are ours, priced from the same photos and booked afterward.
The process
How A Rubber Roof Repair Job Goes
-
Book any handyman job, or send roof photos
The check comes free with any job. If the flat roof is your only concern, text us photos of the seams, the edges and any wet spots, and tell us roughly when the membrane was put on.
-
We look and photograph
From a ladder at the edge we photograph the seams we can see, the perimeter flashing, the drains or scuppers, the penetrations and any standing water. The photos go in your report.
-
Handoff to the roofer
With your say-so we send the photos to FullClaim Restoration, who walks the roof, checks the seams and flashing up close, and sends you a written estimate.
-
You decide
The photos are yours. Use them with FullClaim Restoration, take them to another roofer, or wait. Nothing is booked until you say so.
Questions
Rubber Roof Repair Questions
What is a rubber roof?
On a house it usually means EPDM, a black synthetic rubber membrane laid over a flat or low-slope roof such as a porch, a patio cover, an addition or a garage. The sheets are glued down and the seams are sealed with tape or adhesive. TPO and PVC are white plastic membranes with heat-welded seams, and people often call those rubber roofs too. FullClaim Restoration works on all of them.
How do I know my rubber roof needs repair?
Seams that have lifted or opened, a membrane that has pulled back from the edge or a wall, blisters, punctures, sealant cracking around pipes and vents, and water that stands for days after rain. Inside, a stain on the ceiling under the flat section is often the first sign.
Does Bauss Handyman patch rubber roofs?
No. Patching, seaming and coating a membrane roof is roofing work, and in Oklahoma that needs a roofing contractor registration from the Construction Industries Board. FullClaim Restoration holds that registration and does the work. We do the free check and the photos, and we hand you to them.
How much does rubber roof repair cost in Yukon?
We cannot say, because we do not price roofing. FullClaim Restoration inspects the roof and gives you a written estimate based on the membrane type, the size of the damage, the condition of the seams and flashing, and whether it is a patch, a coating or a replacement. Our check and photos cost you nothing.
Can a rubber roof be coated instead of replaced?
Sometimes, if the membrane is still sound and the seams can be made tight. A coating adds a layer over the existing roof. If the membrane has shrunk, torn at the edges or has wet insulation underneath, replacement is usually the honest answer. That call is FullClaim Restoration's to make after walking the roof.
