Built to the instructions, then checked
We build every piece to the manufacturer’s instructions, in their order, with their hardware. That matters more than it sounds. Skipped cam locks, over-tightened screws in particleboard and back panels left off are why flat-pack furniture wobbles a year later. We also do not change or modify the design, so the piece stays the way its maker intended.
When it is built, we check it. Drawers should run straight, doors should close evenly and the piece should sit level on your floor. Tall dressers and bookcases can be anchored to the wall with the anti-tip hardware that came in the box, if you want them anchored, and we find a stud or use the right anchor for your wall.
Playsets, sheds and other big builds
Outdoor builds take more hands and more time. Playsets, swing sets, sheds, outdoor storage kits and large wardrobes use the two-person crew at $135 an hour with a 2 hour minimum, because some steps cannot be done safely by one person. Chris and Mason work the bigger builds together.
The spot needs to be level and ready before we arrive. Site prep and concrete pads are quoted separately, and we do not run power or water to sheds. Patio furniture and grills are usually one-person jobs at the hourly rate.
Get the most out of one visit
Since the $149 minimum covers the first hour, a single nightstand uses only part of it. Batch your small builds into one visit, or book a half-day block of 4 hours at $319 for a room full of boxes. A TV to mount or a shelf to hang can share the same trip.
Two things keep the day on schedule. Open the boxes and check the parts list before we come, because missing or damaged parts stop the job until the maker sends replacements. And plan on the packaging staying with you, unless hauling it away is agreed in your quote.

Questions
Furniture Assembly Questions
How much does furniture assembly cost in Yukon?
Furniture assembly is $85 an hour, billed in 30 minute steps after the first hour, with a $149 minimum that covers that first hour. Heavy pieces that need two people use the crew rate of $135 an hour. You get a firm written price from photos before we book.
What happens if parts are missing from the box?
The build stops at that step until the maker sends the replacement, since we do not swap in parts that were not designed for the piece. Open the boxes and check the parts list against the instructions before we come. That way you find out before the visit, not in the middle of it.
Can you build a playset or swing set?
Yes. Playsets and swing sets are two-person builds, so they use the crew rate of $135 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. The spot needs to be level and clear before we arrive. If it is not, ask about site prep when you text, and we will quote it separately.
Should a dresser or bookcase be anchored to the wall?
Tall furniture can tip when a drawer is pulled out or a child climbs it, which is why most makers include anti-tip hardware in the box. If you want it, we anchor the piece into a stud or with the right wall anchor, using that hardware.
Can you assemble a shed kit?
Yes, on a level spot that is ready before we arrive. Site prep and concrete pads are quoted separately. We build the kit to the manufacturer's instructions with the two-person crew. We do not run power or water to sheds.
